Managing Partner

David J. Malizia has more than 30 years of experience in private equity investments, operations, and investment banking. He has earned a reputation as one of the more visible investors in the small market and is very active with several merger and acquisition organizations such as the Association for Corporate Growth, Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors, Corporate Finance Associates, International Business Brokers Association, and several regional corporate growth organizations.

Prior to forming Westshore Capital Partners, Mr. Malizia was a senior member of the general partner and a managing director of Florida Capital Partners where he participated in investments within 35 companies and more than 40 add-on acquisitions across 30 industries. Mr. Malizia has served on several companies’ board of directors, which include both private and publicly held companies.

Prior to Florida Capital Partners, Mr. Malizia worked in corporate strategic planning for Snapper, a $280 million manufacturer of powered lawn and garden equipment. Before Snapper, he was vice president of George Moore & Associates, a boutique investment bank for media and communication properties.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
